Making Cherry Orchard Better: an Area Action Plan

The aim of this area action plan is to provide a framework for the renewal of Cherry Orchard and its community. The preparation of this plan has involved extensive consultations with government agencies and departments, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the community itself. Key issues addressed in the plan have been identified using a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis and the feedback from the public consultations. The issues have informed the vision for the plan which is articulated around six pillars, which are fundamental to the well-being of the community.
