The need for experienced and skilled planners has never been greater. The development sector (both private and public) is challenged to provide (at scale) homes, places of work and the infrastructure required to support this growth, while at the same time ensuring good outcomes in terms of quality places, community development and environmental protection/ enhancement.
The National Planning Framework (2024) highlights that just over 7m people live on the island of Ireland, projected to grow 1.4m by 2040. In the Republic of Ireland this equates approx. 1m people from 5.15m to 6.1m, with a need of some 50,000 homes per annum.

Our team has been involved in a wide variety of projects, covering a range of scales from infill residential to nationally important strategic infrastructure.
We have also supported numerous public authorities around the country. Our forward planning work spans a variety of topics including inputs to Development Plans and Local Area Plans, feasibility studies, economic viability assessments, etc. We also provide support to local authorities delivering social and affordable housing, greenways and road developments and to State Agencies and Semi-State Companies.
