Dublin Port Masterplan
The practice was commissioned as part of the multi-disciplinary team by Dublin Port Company to provide planning input to this major Masterplan for Dublin Port.
Other consultants involved included traffic, marine engineering, environmental and economic disciplines. The Plan provides a framework for development in the Port over a 30-year timeframe. It will consider the delivery of significant infrastructure to serve the Port, while balancing this provision with environmental protection and the community gain. It has involved consultation with key stakeholders and an initial public consultation.
In addition to contributing to the Masterplan, MacCabe Durney Barnes prepared a background paper on land use and transportation which formed the basis of the issues paper.
