Luce Hall

The practice was commissioned with O’Donnell Tuomey by Trinity College Dublin in relation to the redevelopment and extension of Luce Hall, located within the Trinity College Campus. The project aiming at providing a much needed 4,400 sqm of student facilities, comprises the erection of a new four storey over basement redbrick building, fronting onto Pearse Street and a glazed roof. Planning permission was granted by Dublin City Council and was not the subject of a Third Party Appeal despite receiving a number of Third Party observations.

In addition to providing the planning input to the project, MacCabe Durney Barnes was tasked with advising the design team and the client as well as liaising with the planning authority and third parties.
