Residential Development at Dunluce, Ballsbridge

The practice was commissioned with Derek Tynan Architects to secure planning permission for the construction of 29 apartments in four small blocks at Anglesea Road. Design iterations have resulted in a development of high architectural quality which harmoniously integrates in the leafy landscape setting of the surrounding area. The development won the 2017 RIAI Award for Best Housing.

MacCabe Durney Barnes advised the design team and client, as well as liaised with the planning authority. Planning permission was secured after An Bord Pleanála dismissed a third party appeal.
