Abbey Creative Quarter – Economic Viability Assessment

The practice was commissioned with Loci, Urban Designers, to prepare an urban design code for the Abbey Creative Quarter in Kilkenny City. The Abbey Creative Quarter is located on the old Smithwicks Brewery site, a site adjoining the core of the city centre. The site presents one of the most significant opportunities for regeneration and consolidation of Kilkenny City Centre. The development of the site will comprise a mix of uses including cultural and creative uses, retail, evening uses and residential.
