Residential development at Santa Sabina

The practice was commissioned with O’Mahony Pike Architects by Parsis Ltd to prepare a planning application for the development of lands located within the curtilage of Santa Sabina, a protected structure in Sutton, North Dublin. The development comprises 86 apartments and 10 houses, a creche with underground and surface car parking. It includes the resurfacing and improvement of a section of the tree-lined entrance avenue that forms part of the curtilage of Santa Sabina. It also included a new entrance for the Santa Sabina Dominican College.

MacCabe Durney Barnes successfully secured planning permission from Fingal County Council and An Bord Pleanála in 2010. Changes in the Fingal County Development Plan led to design amendments which were subsequently permitted in April 2018.
