Expansion of Merrion Hotel
The practice worked with Kavanagh Tuite on the redevelopment and expansion of the iconic Merrion Hotel in Dublin 2. The project includes an additional 4,000sqm of accommodation to the hotel, as well as retail and service areas within the curtilage of a protected structure.
MacCabe Durney Barnes was tasked with securing planning consent for the development. Both Dublin City Council and An Bord Pleanála granted permission following third party observations and appeals.
